WWW.BRITTANYPERILLE.COM Because so many of you are asking where I have been 🤔 and why have my postings have slowed down I thought I should fill you in a little about my personal life. I normally don't really care to share many personal things about myself because let's be honest… WHO CARES! 😆 All we want is demo videos and progress pics right?! 🤗😁🙌🏼 Unfortunately what had been going on in my life had absolutely halted my ability to exercise. I had been suffering from HG (Hyperemesis Gravidarum). Week 6-12 I had been in and out of my doctors office, urgent care and the ER. Imagine combining your worst Flu and Hangover and multiplying it times 10 😰🤕! I would do anything just to have "morning sickness" as many women experience. HG is 24/7 and extremely debilitating. As many times as this pregnancy knocks me down I will continue to get back up 🙏🏻. Thankfully we got everything under control and I am ready to continue my Fit Pregnancy Journey! Hope you all stick around and follow 😅💪🏼 Kettle bell squats 🍑 Single leg landmine DL (Because I am pregnant anytime I do anything that is single limb I always test the movement out first and then add weight if I feel stable enough) Hip Thrusts!! 😱 Yes!! You can absolutely hip thrust when you are pregnant! (If you routinely did them before pregnancy). Bar is placed much lower than normal positioning (I feel comfortable along pubic bone). The bar does NOT 🙅🏼 lay across my hip flexors as I normally teach because of the pressure being placed on the uterus. My range of motion is shortened to keep the bar from pressing on my stomach at the bottom of the thrust. Note** If you have never performed hip thrusts or are new to the movement and are pregnant now is NOT the time to start.
